Hsiao-Lan Rodgers is an artist and free verse poet who resides in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She has dedicated her career in health care since 2004.

From a very young age, with a great amount of curiosity for words, Hsiao-Lan has always been participating in free style writing in her private time. She believes that words are absolutely meaningless until a meaning has been given, by the person who spoke. She writes with real stories, genuine emotions and authentic rawness in human nature.

Hsiao-Lan connected with acrylic art unexpectedly; she started her journey with acrylic poured art, which she has held exhibitions at local business for, along at municipal hall twice in the past; she continues to expand into acrylic painting and acrylic marker drawing. ​                  Humbly,
